After sell-out tours of My Journey to Space, Tim Peake makes a return voyage across the UK with his stellar new show, ASTRONAUTS: The Quest to Explore Space.
With only 610 people having ever been beyond Earth's orbit, nobody is more qualified than Tim to celebrate the historic achievements and human endeavours of space exploration. Up until now, Tim has brought his own incredible story to life through unparalleled storytelling and extraordinary archive footage. In this brand new show, Tim will share the collected stories of some of his fellow astronauts and explore the spectacular evolution of space travel.
From the first forays into the vast potential of space in the 50s and beyond, to the first human missions to Mars, Tim will traverse the final frontier. He’ll go where no one has gone before to offer breathtaking insights into iconic and groundbreaking missions.
As Tim recounts the awe-inspiring endeavours of astronauts across the ages, he’ll reveal what spaceflight is truly like: from the wondrous view of Earth, living in weightlessness, the unique dangers and unexpected moments of humour, to the years of training and gruelling psychological and physical pressures an astronaut must endure.
